Organized Crime Figure. He was a powerful labor boss and racketeer on the Brooklyn waterfront. He was Vice-president of the International Longshoremen's Association and the head of local 1814 of the ILA in Brooklyn during the 1940s and 1950s. Brother of Mafia figures Albert and Frank Anastasia.
