87, of Denver, CO passed peacefully from this world on March 17, 2012. She was born Marie Lucia Cipolla on March 16, 1925 in Providence RI. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and a caring friend to many. She had a passion for astrology and expressed her creative side in painting and jewelry making. In 1950, she married Grover C. Bock and spent the next 20 years traveling the world as a military wife. The family moved to Aurora, Co in 1970.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Grover and her brother Leonard. She is survived by her brothers Paul and Robert, her four children Benita (Rich) Boyd, Elaine (John) Waters, Pauline (Mark) Denchfield, Joe (Robyn) Bock, her step-son Michael (Mary) Lanier, five grandchildren Jennifer, Katie, Emma, Andrea and Michael and three great-grandchildren Avery, Ryan and Jake.
A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00am on Friday, March 23, 2012 at Fairmont Mortuary & Cemetery. She will be interred alongside her husband at Fort Logan National Cemetery in a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, donations honoring her life may be made to Porter Hospice at the Johnson Center, 5020 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, Co 80122.
