Floyd Curtis was a veteran of WW I and was a farmer and stockman. He had three children, five grandchildren, twelve great-granchildren and still counting on the great-greats.

Floyd T. Curtis
VERMILLION -- Floyd T. Curtis, 86, Vermillion, died Friday at an Onaga hospital where he had been a patient about a week.
He was born Jan. 14, 1889, in Vermillion. He was a farmer in the vermillion community and also a director of the Vermillion State bank. He was a veteran of World War I.
Mr. Curtis was a member of the Christian Church and the American legion in Vermillion and the Masonic Lodge in Frankfort.
His wife, the former Nettie Mann, survives at the home.
Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Volle, Olathe and Mrs. Dreda lane, Vermillion; a son, Paul Curtis, Covina, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Estella Mitchell and Mrs. Gloria Cutting, both of Fresno, Calif., and Mrs. Lucy Grey, Vermillion; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Christian Church in Vermillion. Burial will be in the Vermillion Cemetery.
The Masonic Lodge, Frankfort, and the American Legion of Vermillion will both conduct graveside services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Church in Vermillion. Hayes Funeral Home, Centralia, is in charge of arrangements.
