MRS. MARY LAUBER
Mary Lauber, nee Bucher, daughter of Frederick and Mariah Bucher, was born, July 7, 1860, in Lucas County, Ohio. On April 4, 1878, she was united in marriage with Samuel S. Lauber. To this union were born: twelve children. In 1890 she became a member of the Reformed Mennonite Church and remained a faithful member to the end. She was kind and loving mother, rich in wise counsel and admonition of her children; ever striving to set a blameless example before them and all those about her, that they might come out from the world and with her, tread the narrow path.
She departed this life Saturday, October 27, 1945, at the age of 85 years, 3 months and 20 days.

Her husband, one son, Lewis E., one daughter, Marjory, and four grandchildren preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her loss, her five sons, Melvin C., Simon C., Elmer S., Floyd F and Earl V.; five daughters, Mrs. Cora Gearig, Mrs. Emma Beaverson, Mrs. Ida Henry, Mrs. Bertha Quillet and Mrs. Thornetta Leu; thirty-one grandchildren; thirty-nine great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Fare thee well our loving mother, Now released from fear and pain.
We hope through Jesus' merit, That our loss to you is gain.
May your prayers in time be answered, That we strive to emulate,
The example of our Savior, Lest we meet a doleful fate.
