Gary Randolph, 58, of Batavia, Ohio, formerly of Oneida, passed away May 16, 2004, at St. Mary's Medical Center in La Follette.

Born June 26, 1945, he was preceded in death by his father, Marion (Shorty) Randolph; father- and mother-in-law, Jacob and Lottie Laxton; brothers-in-law, Lonnie Terry and Bill Jones; and sisters-in-law, Nellie Cotton, Joan Randolph, and Lou Etta Laxton.

He was a member of the Ambassador Freewill Baptist Church; a member of Clermont South Masonic Lodge #29; a member of the Scottish Rite and a Thirty-Second Degree Mason; a member of the Harley Owners Group (HOG); and a graduate of Oneida High School class of 1963. He was retired from General Electric, where he worked for 34 years and was a member of UAW #647.

He is survived by his mother, Jean Lay Randolph of Jacksboro; his wife, Charlotte Randolph of Batavia, Ohio; two children: Sandra Hardin and husband, Kenneth of Milford, Ohio; and Gregory Randolph and wife, Julie, of Cincinnati, Ohio; four grandchildren, one brother, Jack Randolph; several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives.

Interment in Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Amelia, Ohio, with Masonic Rites.

Jones & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
