James Rodney Gragg is the son of James C. Gragg and Margaret (Shoults) Gragg.

J. Rodney Gragg is an approved member of the Sons of the American Revolution, through SAR Membership 27742, through the ancestors of his mother. [1]

He has authored several books, as "J. Rodney Gragg" among them The story of Bourneville (Ohio) and Gragg's Country Store, both published privately by Paint Creek Valley Research Project.

On February 2, 1944, J. Rodney married Ada Juenger.

J. Rodney died July 6, 1972 in Greenfield, Ohio. His obituary was published in the Greenfield Daily Times Newspaper the following day
