Sparta Man Dies
Funeral Servces Saturday for William Bilderback
William H. Bilderback, 75, of Sparta, died Wednesday in the Randolph County Nursing Home after a long illiness
He was born in Rockwood on Nov. 3, 1889: the son of William & Elizabeth Bilderback nee Moore. He married Anna Schmierbach in Chester on March 4, 1916 He was a retired miner He leaves his wife: sons, Herschel and Byron, both of St. Louis, Mo., a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Snelson of St. Louis & sisters, Mrs. Stella Harriman of Eldorado, Mrs. Anna Harriman of Marissa, and Mrs. Ethel McGraw of Mt. Vernon. Two brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be at 2pm Saturday in the Walker Colonial Funeral Home in Sparta with Rev. Oscar Maerker officiating. Burial will be in the Marissa Cemetery.
