Elizabeth Fish is the daughter of Thomas Fish (1703–1786) and Mercy Mary Coggeshall (1704–1778). She married Elisha Allen (1722–1802) in Oblong, New York in 1752. Elizabeth's sister is Wait Fish who married 1. Philip Allen Jr. (Elisha's brother) and 2. Fortunatas Sherman.
