BROKEN BOW — Mary Alyce Tierney, 99, of Broken Bow died Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Broken Bow.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Oconto with the Rev. Jim Hunt officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery near Oconto.
She was born March 29, 1915, in Merna to John J. and Loretta (Edwards) Rourke.
On June 10, 1940, she married Phil Tierney. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include her sons, Mike (Kathy) of Broken Bow and Paul (Robin) of Oral, S.D.; daughter, Joyce (Franc) Suddoth of Memphis, Tenn.; sisters, Veronica Neiswanger, Kathleen Roberts and Janice Lehman, all of Denver; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
