He was predeceased by his parents and two great-grandchildren, Payton Kellar and William Leon Bowie.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Juanita Simpson Adams; one son, and two daughters, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Clergy at the service will be the Rev. Brian Corrick. Interment will follow at Nanjemoy Baptist Church Cemetery, Nanjemoy, MD. Pallbearers will be John Epp, James Finley, Jr., Phillip Vargas, William Willett, John Adams and Jamey Finley.
