DR. J. KELLOGG DIES OF APOPLEXY

The community was shocked last Thursday evening about 6:00 o'clock to hear that Dr. J. KELLOGG, our popular druggist had fallen as a result of a stroke of apoplexy. A doctor was called but very little could be done. He was taken to Tom's Hotel where he kept getting weaker and weaker until the end came about 1 o'clock Friday morning. Mrs. KELLOGG, who was at Greely, Colorado, for some time for her health, was called but did not arrive until Sunday morning. His brother, L. G. KELLOGG, of Ripon, Wisconsin, arrived Sunday night.

J. KELLOGG was born at Ripon, Wisconsin, March 23, 1859 and died March 13th, 1919, at Forgan, Oklahoma. He graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College on March 29, 1906. On February 26, 1912, he was united in marriage to Elizabeth WESEMAN. He came to Forgan from Enid, Oklahoma, in December 1915 where he built up a prosperous drug business. He leaves to mourn his death, a wife, a step-daughter, a brother, a sister and a great number of close friends, neighbors and associates.

The remains were taken to Ripon, Wisconsin, Monday afternoon for burial.
