I saw your Find A Grave on Samuel Derrick in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. (88217438). I know that the church records have his death date as 1854. However, you and I know that the headstone is far too worn to really read that date. For many reasons, I believe the date is actually 1831. The biggest reason I think this is because his estate was probated Jan 10, 1832. So he had to have been dead by then. Also, if the death date was 1831, then his birth date would be 1787, much more in keeping with census data and his wife's 1796 birthdate.
