Mrs. Roy C. Hiltner

NORTH CREEK - Mrs. Frances L. Hiltner, 50, wife of Roy C. Hiltner, North Creek, died at 12:50 a.m. Monday in Defiance hospital where she had been a patient the last three days. She had been ill the last six months.

She was born in Hancock County but had spent most of her life in Putnam County. She was married to Mr. Hiltner Sept. 28, 1926. She was a member of the Continental Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, the Countrywomen's Club and the Wisterman Evangelical United Brethren Church.

Surviving besides her husband are four daughters, Mrs. Lenora Webb and Mrs. Ruth Ann Hinesman, Defiance; Mrs. Helen Williamson, Continental, and Mrs. Jean Bodenbender, North Creek; four grandchildren; a brother, Floyd Wells, Defiance; five sisters, Mrs. Gary Kinsey, Coldwater, Mich.; Mrs. Maude Schafer, Fostoria; Mrs. Goldie Green, Findlay; Mrs. Gladys Hazelton, Valparaiso, Ind.; Orval Hoover, Leipsic.

The body will be removed from the Walls-Walker Funeral Home, Continental, to the residence, where the OES Chapter will conduct memorial services at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Prayer services will be conducted in the residence at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday after which the body will be removed to the Wisterman EUB Church for services at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Monroe Cemetery.
