Marcella Leah (Williams) Trate, 85, formerly of Mosquito Valley, passed on to be with her Lord Jesus on Good Friday, April 6, 2012, at ManorCare North Health Services.
Born Aug. 16, 1926, in Milton, she was a daughter of Arthur and Mildred Derr Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Karl I. Trate on Nov. 20, 2008.
She was a graduate of Milton High School. Karl and Marcella moved to Williamsport in 1957 and spent the majority of their love in their beloved Mosquito Valley, where they raised two sons, Thomas and Dennis. The family loved to camp and fish.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas I. Trate and wife Debby, of Williamsport, and Dennis W. Trate and wife Kathy, of Mill Hall; four grandchildren, Daniel, Valerie, Christina, and Jennifer; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alice Fetzer and husband Thomas, of Milton.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St. Williamsport. Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sanders.
