MOUNT HOLLY - Nina Belle Duvall Wooten, 83, of 2040 Old Hickory Grove Road, died Jan. 3, 2012.

She was born in Swain County, daughter of the late Caro Elbert and Ethel Doshia Totherow Duvall.

She was wife of the late Charlie Lee Norey Wooten and was also preceded in death by 2 sisters Claudell Stevenson and Joan Ledford and 1 brother John Lewis Duvall. She was a charter member of Ridgeview Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Wooten Helms and husband Jeff of Murrells Inlet, S.C. and Charlene (Charli') Wooten of Mount Holly; one son, Charlie Richard Wooten and wife Tracy of Mount Holly; four grandsons, Josh Helms of Murrells Inlet, SC, Nathan, Zachary, and Charlie Wooten all of Mount Holly; two great-granddaughters, Jennifer Yates and McKayla Stamey both of Murrells Inlet, SC.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Wooten will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Ridgeview Baptist Church with the Rev. Leroy Mobley officiating.

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Woodlawn Funeral Home.
