Margaret F. Wolbeck, age 84 of Little Falls, formerly of Grey Eagle, died peacefully surrounded by her family Friday, March 28, 2008 at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls, Minnesota.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 2 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grey Eagle with Rev. Ron Dockendorf officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church Chapel in Grey Eagle. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday evening followed by Christian Mothers at 7:30 p.m.

Margaret Wolbeck was born July 16, 1923 in Greenwald, Minnesota to John and Theresa (Walters) Laumeyer. On August 3, 1943 she married Leo Wolbeck at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Greenwald. The couple farmed near Swanville until moving to Grey Eagle in 1980. She had been employed by Jennie-O Foods in Melrose for 15 years before retiring in 1991. Since February of 2007 she had resided at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls.

Margaret was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grey Eagle and Christian Mothers. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, reading, camping, traveling, shaking dice, playing cards, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include five sons, Ralph (Delores) Wolbeck of Burtrum, Victor (Barbara) Wolbeck of Bemidji, James (Marlene) Wolbeck, Leo (Kay) Wolbeck, Jr., and Larry (fiance, Donna Golombiecki) Wolbeck, all of Swanville; ten grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother and sisters, Catherine Uhlenkamp of Sauk Centre, Marie Lardy of South St. Paul, Rita (Orlin) Tollifson of Inver Grove Heights, Regina Smith of Dillworth, and Tony Laumeyer of Osakis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo on December 23, 1995; brothers, Ben, George, Henry, Hubert, and Alcuin Laumeyer.

Serving as casket bearers will be Bobby, Randy, and Neil Wolbeck, Dan Meagher, Jamie Eggerth, and Jarett Golombiecki. Cross bearer will be Bonnie Wolbeck and scripture bearer will be Rhonda Dahl.
