Although no stone is visible for Mary Coffey, St Nicholas parish records confirm that Mary Coffey was buried 7 Mar 1871, age 70 yrs. Mary and Patrick Coffey were married in Ireland, where their children were born prior to immigrating.


The History of Freedom Wisconsin biography about the Randerson and Coffey family connections has listed Mary's surname as CLARK. Previous family research believed it to be BENOT.


According to the recorded History of Outagamie County, WI, Patrick and his family established their homestead in 1856.


The will of Mary Coffey was recorded 23 Mar 1871. In it she leaves her estate to her daughter Mary, wife of Patrick O'Riley, including a remaining mortgage due with son Wm Coffey & wife; except for $4 ($1 to each): James Coffey, Catherine Randerson, Ann King, Wim Coffey.
