Fiorence Sands
PARADISE -
- A memorial service was held today for Florence S. Sands, 92 of Paradise and formerly of Lompoc, at Axleys Culver Chapel in Cassville, Mo. Inurnment will be in the Horner Cemetery in Cassville.
Mrs. Sands was born June 6, 1896 in Calaway, Neb,, and died Saturday in Paradise following a short illness. A homemaker, she moved to Paradise from Lompoc in 1972. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Paradise.
Survivors include a son, Herb DeVere Sands of Paradise; two granddaughters and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert in December 1977.
Cremation arrangements were handled by Rose Chapel Mortuary and Crematory in Paradise.∼Florence married Herbert Sands b: 4 Nov 1885 d: Dec 1977
Their child was Herbert "Devere" Sands b: 8 Oct 1916 d: 2 Jan 1992. He married Virginia.
