"Mrs. Letitia Richards, well known resident of Nevada since the early days, died late this afternoon at her home on East Liberty Street. She had been in failing health for some time.
Mrs. Richards was a pioneer resident of Austin, NV. She was born in London, England, but came to this country with her parents as a child and was raised in Austin. In 1875 she was married to the late Charles A. Richards. Mr. Richards for many years conducted a general merchandising business and meat market in Austin. She moves to Reno several years ago to make her home.
She was the mother of Charles L. Richards, widely known Reno attorney and former congressman, and of Mrs. Letitia Jameson of Tonopah."
