Paula M. Garcia, beloved mother and grandmother, entered into eternal rest on March 29, 2012 at the age of 85. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on December 24, 1926. Paula served for over 30 years as a General Equipment Examiner with Civil Service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Porfirio L. Garcia and is survived by their son, George A. Garcia and wife Ruby; two beloved grandchildren, Ashley Garcia and Adrienne Wood; two great-grandchildren Natalie and Andres Elizondo. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers for a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 9, 2012 at St. Paul's Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at 9:30 a.m. at the church prior to Mass. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
