Thomas C Stringer was born, 09 June 1818 in North Carolina. During the War of Northern Aggression he was a Corporal in Corbin's Co. Ga. Cavalry. In 1880 he was living in Shoal Creek with his wife Harriett & 4 children, Allen Monroe 20, Harriett 15, Nancy 13 & Charity 10..
