Louise R Walter, 84, of 518 N Ash Avenue died Wednesday in Mary Lanning Hospital.
Mrs. Walter was born at Sylvan Grove, Kan. and lived in Nebraska for 60 yrs. and Hastings since 1941. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Christian (Löffelhardt) Walter and her parents, Wilhem Heinrich "Henry" Adolph Fricke and Christina Rosina "Rose" Kohler Fricke.
Surviving are five daughters, Louise Walter of Hastings, Mrs. Henry (Dorothy) Christensen of Coucil Bluffs, Iowa, Mrs. Kenneth (Ruth) Meyer of Morton, Ill., Mrs. Gladys McManaman of Chico, Calif., Mrs. Rod (Eunice) Huntress of Helena, Ala.; a son, Dr. James (Grace) Walter of Carmel, Calif.; nine grandchildren three great-grandchildren, three brother, Albert Fricke of Hastings, Walter Fricke, of Omaha, Ted Fricke of Durham, N.C.; and a sister Mrs. Helen Hunt of Loveland, Colo.
Memorials may be given to First Presbyterian Church.
Services were Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Butler-Volland Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dr. Robert M. Mays officiating.
