Heather Noell Spade Adkins, 36, of Pipestem went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at the Cabell Huntington Hospital.

Born September 11, 1975 in Hinton, she was a daughter of Debra Bragg Adkins of Jumping Branch and the late Benny Allen Spade.

Heather was a member of the Bluestone Baptist Church at Jumping Branch. She was a 1994 graduate of Chatham Central High School where she participated on the cheerleading squad and later graduated from the Valley Training Center as a legal secretary.

Heather was a homemaker and spent her time caring for her children at home. She loved singing, animals, dancing, horseback riding, four wheeling, camping and the outdoors.

Preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Eldredge and Jo Ann Bragg; paternal grand-parents, Benjamin Franklin Spade and Bertie Lou Cooper and an uncle Ralph H. Bragg.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Anthony Adkins; four daughters, Dominic Noell Adkins, Megan Leannea Adkins, Madison Taylor Adkins and Shawnna Aleese Adkins; three brothers, Benny Allen "Little Benny" Spade and wife Christy of Jumping Branch, Zachary Dalton Adkins and Christian Jericho Adkins of Jumping Branch; two sisters, Benita Spade Feldmann and husband Kory of Iowa and Katie Jo Adkins of Jumping Branch and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, April 2, 2012 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Bill Fox officiating.

Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call from 6:00-9:00 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
