Walker Marshall was born in Weare, New Hampshire, Nov 3, 1803. He was married In 1829 to Miss Lydia Chase, who with three children survive him. His active manhood was spent in the town of Unity, N H, where he lived 32 years. In 1808 he removed with his wife and son to Wheatland, Wisconsin, their present home. He was converted at the age of 40, under the labors of the Rev Samuel Cushing, and joined the Methodist Episcopal church, and continued a consistent member till his death, Feb 15tb, 1885, in his 82d year. His last years were clouded with a great affliction, the loss of sight . . .
