Age 55, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at home. She was born October 21, 1955 in Ypsilanti, the daughter of Harold and Tinnie (Berger) Jackson.
On July 7, 1990, she married Marty Byrd in Ypsilanti and he survives. Crystal was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and worked for the University of Michigan. In addition to her loving husband of 20 years, survivors include: daughter, LaToya Bradberry of Ypsilanti; grandson, DaShawn Bradberry of Ypsilanti; granddaughter, Kianna Bradberry of Ypsilanti; two brothers, Mark A. Jackson of GA and Harold G.C. Jackson of Ann Arbor; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. The funeral service will be 11 am Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 1030 Midway, Ypsilanti with Pastor Roger Hill officiating. Burial will follow in United Memorial Gardens.
