July 28, 1947 -Adopted Daughter of Mrs. Marie TURNER ACKERMAN, and the late Walter E. ACKERMAN, was born on February 6, 1943 in East St. Louis IL, and passed away at the St. Francis Hospital in Mountain View MO on Wednesday, July 5, 1998 at the age of 55 years 5 months and 13 days. Lynn graduated from Belleville Township High School in 1960. In 1966 she graduated from McKendree College in Lebanon IL with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. She completed her Masters degree in Elementary Administration at Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield MO in the summer of 1980. She was united in marriage to Amos L. STEWART on July 31, 1997 making their union 11 ½ months. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter E. ACKERMAN. Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Marie T. ACKERMAN of Belleville IL; her husband, Amos L. STEWART of the home; two daughters, Julie Lynn TYNDORF of Summersville MO and Michelle TYNDORF EDWARDS of Isabella MO; one stepdaughter, Paula Jean STEWART of Eminence MO; and one stepson, James STEWART of Houston MO; five grandchildren, Amanda, Andrew, Casey, Cody and A. J. Lynn retired in 1993 after teaching many years in the Summersville School District. She touched the lives of many family, friends and people who knew her through her kind thoughts, words and actions. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Services were held Saturday, July 18, 1998 at 10:00 a.m. at Bradford Funeral Chapel in Summersville MO, with Rev. Glenn GREEN officiating. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery in Hartshorn MO.
