Miss Adah Torrey, 70, of 539 Franklin St., Buffalo, a former Wyoming County resident, died Sunday, Jan. 6, in Buffalo General Hospital following a two week illness.
She was born in North Java, the daughter of Lester and Minda Torrey.
Miss Torrey was employed for about forty five years for the Western Union Company. She was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church of Buffalo.
Survivors are a nephew, Orville Carpenter of Attica, and two nieces, Mrs. Richard McBride of Newark and Mrs. Norbert Smith of Marquette, Mich.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. in the Weeks Funeral Home by Rev. Ray Kiely of the Westminster Presbyterian Church of Buffalo.
Burial was in Union Corners Cemetery.
