She was born in Vinton, Iowa, and was a daughter of the late John and Julia Frush Austin. Her husband died 13 years ago. She is survived by two brothers, Darrell Austin, Hagerstown, and Loren Austin, Detour; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was a member of Haugh’s Mt. Zion Lutheran Church near Ladiesburg. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the D. D. Hartzler and Sons Funeral Home, Union Bridge. The Rev. William A. Markely, pastor of St. James Lutheran Church, Union Bridge, will officiate. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Union Bridge. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday evening."
