MULLINS - Christine Haynes, 68, died Wednesday, April 04, 2012. She was born in Horry County, a daughter of the late John B. and Mary Margaret Cox Herring.

Mrs. Haynes was predeceased in addition to her parents by one brother, William John Herring and three sisters, Carlee Closterman, Bobby Jean Jackson, and Betty Jo Avant.

She is survived by one son, James B. (Theresa) Ward Jr. of Chesapeake, Virginia; two daughters, Cathy M. (Roger) Domentay of Los Angeles, California and Connie M. Ward of Lockhaven, Pennsylvania; two brothers, Jimmy W. Herring of Scranton, S.C. and Franklin D. Herring of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; five sisters, Willaree Lupo of Effingham, S.C., Dianna Cooper of Mullins, Patricia Spivey of Little River, S.C., and Sandra Cook of Mullins; 11 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm , Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Nichols.
