William Armstrong Emerson, 89 died on March 18, 1975. He was preceeded in death by his wife Ada Victoria Cathey Emerson and daughter Mary A Emerson; His parents were John J. Emerson and Sarah Ann Earnest Emerson. He was survived by his son John Richard Emerson and a daughter Dona Lee Emerson Brown. He was a farmer in Calhoun County, Arkansas in The Ellisville community. During World War II he worked as a security guard at the Naval Ammunition Depot, in western Calhoun County near Camden, Ar. Most of the people of the community called him "Bill" or "Pa" His favorite passtime was fishing. I can remember as a child walking to Moro and fishing with "Pa"
