Mrs. Darlene Adams, 58, of 10231 E.Arnold Lake Rd., Harrison,died Thursday, March 12,1992, at 8701 N. M-18 in Franklin Township, after a long illness.
Born in Albia, Iowa, Dec. 11,1933, she moved to Clare County6 years ago from Holly. The former Darlene Sheldon, she was married to Leon Adams in March 1955, in Pontiac.
Besides her husband, she is survived by 9 daughters, Wanda Hannan, Kimberly Elliott and Georgiana Sphon of Sumner, Delores Adams of Holly, Cindy Ross of Brown City, Esther Kerbyson of Evart, Kathy Preston of Jeddo, Deanna Adams of Harrison and Christiana Adams of Reed City; 8 sons, Fred and Randy of Burton, Stanley and Ronald of Holly, Robert, Forest and Thomas of Harrison and Leon Jr. of Evart; 3 brothers; 31 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Rites were held Monday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home,
Gladwin Chapel. The Rev. Harold Elliott officiated and burial was in the Hamilton Township Cemetery.
