BETTY G STEFFEN
Mrs. Betty Grace STEFFEN, 42 of McAlisterville R.D.1, formerly of Mt. Pleasant Mills and McClure, died at 545 p.m. Friday, May 19, in the Lewistown Hospital where she was a patient for five weeks.
She was employed by Kirby Manufacturing Company at McClure and later by the Kinney Shoe Corp. at Beaver Springs. Her last employment was at the Leonard Garment company and the Plaza Shopping Center at Selinsgrove R.D. She was a member of St. John's Black Oak Ridge Church at McClure R.D.
Born April 18, 1939, at McClure R.D.2, she was a daughter of Carl H and Mary M SNOOK FULTZ of McClure R.D. 2. She married Myron STEFFEN in 1948.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Richard (Linda) SHEESLEY of Middleburg R.D.1, Mrs. Kenneth (Georgetta) HERROLD of Port Treverton R.D.2, Mrs. Steven (Judy) SHAMBACH of Beavertown, Miss Patty SHEFFEON and Miss Mary Jane STEFFON, both at home; two sons, Myron Jr of McClure R.D.2 and Henry of Middleburgh,; three sisters, Mrs. Dallas (Erma) WAGNER of Wernersville, Mrs. Geoge (Jean) STEFFEN and Mrs. Nevin (Shelva) WALTER, both of McClure R.D.2; three brothers, Alton FULTZ, Arthur FULTZ and Donald FULTZ all of McClure R.D.2, and six grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in St. John's Church with Rev. Elden EHRHART officiating. Interment will be made in the adjoining church cemetery. Friends will be received at the Garman Funeral Home at Mt. Pleasant Mills Monday after 7 p.m.
