ANDERSON WADE "SHORTY" ARNOLD, of Cedar Hill, passed away July 22, 2003.

He was born August 26, 1917, in Amarillo, Texas, to Nathan Wade & Alice Josephine (Kirk) Arnold. A long time member of the Church of Christ, Shorty is survived by his daughters, Cynthia Yarbrough of Valley View, Texas, and Linda Nichols of Haltom City, Texas; son, Paul Wade Arnold of Houston; 13 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Shorty was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Sarah Margaret, in 2001. Funeral services are 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 26, 2003, at Jaynes Memorial Chapel with Mr. Steve Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Laurel Land Cemetery in Dallas. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Friday, at the funeral home.
