Kathleen S. Batchelor, age 83, of Malvern passed away April 3, 2012. She was born May 30, 1928 in Friendship, Arkansas to the late Barney and Alma Fowler Adams. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Sowell whom passed away April 9, 1969 and her second husband, Frank Batchelor whom also passed away January 19, 2012; two sisters, Hazel Hardage and Barney Lou May and granddaughter Iranna Edwards.
Survivors include her daughter Linda Morgan and her husband Fred of Malvern; two brothers, J.C. Adams and his wife Myra of Little Rock and Paul Adams and his wife Iva Nell also of Little Rock; two sisters, Mary Carver of Malvern and Mildred Smith of Austin, Texas; grandchildren Illana Mortimer of Dana Point, CA and great-grandchildren, Greanna Holiman, Marlon Gaines, Erik Edwards and his wife Teran Brent Edwards and one great-greatgrandchild.
Service will be Saturday, April 7 at 2:00 PM at Regency Funeral Home Chapel with Bro Scott Efird officiating. Burial will follow at Gilchrist Cemetery in Friendship.
Arrangements are by Regency Funeral Home.
