Services were to be held at 4 p.m. today at County Line Baptist Church for Ed Smith, 78, who died Wednesday at his home in Crystal Springs. Rev. John Sarton and Rev. Dan Henderson are the officiating ministers. Burial was to follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Smith is survived by two sons, Roy E. Smith, Crystal Springs; and John of Houston, Tex; a daughter, Mrs. Katie Lou Poker, Hattiesburg; and two sisters, Mrs. B. F. Deitze and Miss Ann Smith, both of Crystal Springs.
