Juanita was born to Orange and Fanny Redd Board. She attended school in Larned. In 1927, she married Andrew Nelson Broils; they were married for 32 years. She then married John Starks in 1959 at Junction City; he preceded her in death in 1974. Survivors include two sons, Forrest A Broils Sr and Charles L Broils and one daughter, Helen E Thompson.
