CADIZ, Ky. — Services for Ernest L. "Buddy" Oliver Jr., 70, Cadiz, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rev. Willie Morgan officiating.

Burial will be at Wall Cemetery in Wallonia. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

He died at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at his home following a long illness.

A native of Wallonia, he was born Jan. 24, 1938, the son of the late Ernest Len Oliver Sr. and Lula Agnes Oliver.

He was a retired truck driver and farmer and was a Pentecostal.

His wife, Betty Jane "Micky" Taylor Oliver, and a daughter, Diana Marie Addison, preceded him in death.

Survivors include four sons, Ricky Len Oliver, Jeffrey Lee Oliver, David Johnson, Reison W. Gray; four daughters, Lisa Calhoun, Diana Lou Harper, April Dawn Oliver, Laveda Love; Four sisters, Agnes Aleshire, Lucille Tumblison, Margie Nelums and Hazel Redd, 25 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
