The funeral took place Tuesday afternoon with the burial at Bethany Church cemetery. A large crowd of relatives and friends were present to pay their last respects. The funeral was directed by Rev. Buchan, the pastor of Carver church where Mr. Carver was a member.
The deceased is survived by eleven children besides a host of relatives in this section.
He was known far and wide as a straight forward living man, had farmed most of his life, and made the community in which he lived a good neighbor and friend. He will be missed by his hundreds of friends for his many acts of kindness. Peace to his ashes.
