Mrs. Mummert Dies

Hanover, April 19 – Mrs. Mary C. Mummert, wife of Charles W. Mummert, 550 Baltimore Street, died this afternoon at 4:30 o'clock in the Hanover General Hospital from a complication of diseases at the age of 64 years, ten months and 14 days. She had been in ill health for some time but had been a patient at the hospital only since yesterday afternoon.
Mrs. Mummert was a daughter of the late John and Mary C. Goodfellow Newman. Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Miss Mary C. Mummert, Lancaster, and Mrs. Ann R. Myers, York; one sister, Mrs. Emmaline Mummert, Hanover, and one brother, John Newman, Railroad.
The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the house. Rev. Dr. Harry Hursh Beidleman, pastor of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment will be made in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The body may be viewed at the home from 7 o'clock Wednesday evening until the time of the funeral. Funeral Director W. A. Feiser is in charge of arrangements.
