Survived by his wife; two sisters; two daughters; one son; one step-son; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two nieces; and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his biological father, Harold Chroninger and stepmother, Thelma Chroninger; his mother, Geneva Jo Sharpe Kitchens; and his adopted-father, Donald W. Kitchens.
