BAIRD, RUBY GENEVA - age 79, of 131 Orchard Street, Jacksboro, Tenn.,
passed away June 26, 1999, at the LaFollette Nursing Home.
She was a member of Jacksboro First Baptist Church. Mrs. Baird loved to
spend time with her children andgrandchildren and enjoyed cooking. She was preceded in death by her
husband, Don Baird; parents, Silas and Roxie Parker Treece. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Jerrie Baird, Jerry Wayne and Debbie Baird and Arnold Pete Hatmaker, all of Jacksboro; daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Donald Ray Cross of LaFollette; brothers, Charles Treece of Karns and GurnieTreece of Coalfield; sister, Stella Jones of Denver, Colo.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, at Martin's Chapel with Rev.Jimmy Ault officiating. Interment 10 a.m. Wednesday, JacksboroCemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home. Donations may be made tothe Gideon's Bible Program. Martin Funeral Home of LaFollette in charge of arrangements.
