Gainesville, Texas - Funeral services for Dr. Sidney A. Price, 59, prominent Fort Worth physician who died there Monday, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Robertson-Mueller-Harper Chapel.
Graveside services and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Gainesville, about noon.
Dr. Price was a son of the late Dr. and Mrs. W. J. Price of Gainesville. He graduated from Vanderbilt Medical School, Nashville, Tenn.
He was commissioned in the Air Corps Medical Department shortly before World War II and attained the rank of major. He was cited by the Army for heroism when he pulled two fliers from a crashed and burning training plane.
