Emma Grace (Bowser) Seyler, 86, of Arthur Street, Kittanning, died Saturday, March 18, 2006, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, East Franklin Township. She was born August 24, 1919, in East Franklin to Hamilton D. and Sadie (Shepard) Bowser.

Mrs. Seyler was raised in Kittanning but the family moved to Wilkinsburg where they lived for 22 years before moving back to Kittanning.

She was a member of the Grace Brethren Church in West Kittanning since April 22, 1928. She graduated from Kittanning High School in 1932 and graduated from the Kittanning Business School in 1939. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include three sons, James Seyler and wife Judy, of Kittanning, Donald Seyler and wife Autumn, of Kittanning, and Robert Seyler and wife Julie, of Cowansville; a grandson, Gregory Seyler, of Cowansville; two granddaughters, Laura Seyler, of Cowansville and Emily Seyler, of Kittanning; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold J. Seyler whom she married September 11, 1945, and who died March 11, 1980; and a sister, Mildred (Bowser) Hawk.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, Inc., 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Robert Burns, the Rev. Shawn Ostrander, and the Rev. Mark Cornwell officiating. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington.
