aAnn Ruth Mettee, 83, of Sykesville, died Sunday, April 1, 2012, at Long View Nursing Home in Manchester.
Born June 28, 1928, in Union Bridge, she was the daughter of the late Russell Troxell and Nettie Troxell Testerman. She was the wife of the late Edward R. Mettee.
She was a supervisor for the phone company.
Surviving are sisters-in-law Shirley Troxell, of Garrison, and Doris Troxell, of Owings Mills; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brothers Maurice R. and Leroy H. Troxell; and a sister, Isabel J. Mathias.
