Luebertha Kenney Butler, A resident of Baton Rouge and native of Pinkneyville, Miss., she died at 4:30 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2009, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet. She was 69.

Visiting at Greater Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church, 8064 Mickens Road, Religious service at Second Baptist Church of West Baton Rouge, Port Allen, conducted by the Rev. Larry James. Interment in the church cemetery.

Survived by her husband, Robert Butler; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Dianne and Milton Banks, Irma and Wadell Chambers, Linda K. O'Connor and Lucinda Kenney; seven stepsons, Curtis Antoine, Robert Antoine, William E. Butler, Thomas Jarrell, Charlie Jarrell Jr., John Jarrell and Jerry Jarrell; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Kate Kenney Lane, Shirley K. Cooks and Emma and Charlie Smith; six brothers and four sisters-in-law, Mose and Gennie Kenney, Sam Kenney, Nathan and Rose Kenney, Joseph and Suela Kenney, Dave Kenney III and Arthur and Ruby Kenney; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, Dave Jr. and Emma Young Kenny; daughter, Barbara Robertson; three brothers and two sisters.
