Jack lived with his Maternal grandparents, Crawford, at the time of the 1910 census. By the 1920 Census he was a lodger at a hotel in the 8th ward of Cincinnati, OH Never a mention of either his mother or father.

Jack was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Civil .Engineer. degree in 1928 and was a member of ATO fraternity, his two brother-in-laws were also both in ATO , Ed & George White. After graduation he was employed by The Cincinnati & Suburban Bell Telephone Co.
He married Lucile Faith White 30 June 1928 at Mt. Auburn, Methodist Church, Cincinnati, OH They had no children.. Jack was employed in outside plant department by the phone C o ..he
volunteered as civilian Radar expert, he was placed in charge of Army installation work from San Francisco to the north border. He came down with Multiple Sclerosis, but finished out his war contract working from a wheel chair. Cincinnati Bell gave Jack disability and he moved to Florida. During WWII he served in the US Army signal corps..
