June Bruce, 77, of Princeton, died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
Born April 26, 1934, in Caldwell County; a daughter of the late Kelvin and Edith Holeman Oates, she was a retired bookkeeper and secretary, and a member of Cedar Bluff Baptist Church. She had served as a church pianist for over 60 years.
She was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Judy Hudson; and a stepson, Johnny Bruce.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. J.R. Bruce; and two stepsons, Joe Bruce of Westin, Fla., and Jerry Bruce of Qulin, Mo.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bruce will be conducted Tuesday, Dec. 27, at 2:30 p.m. at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Harold Greenfield officiating, assisted by the Rev. Mark Faughn.
Burial will follow in Liberty Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
