wife of William Badley, Surgeon of Dudley and daughter of a Cosley schoolmaster, she was born at Cosley, Staffordshire, England. They had four children surgeon, John Badley, F.R.C.S.; Anthony Badley; Elizabeth Badley and Radcliff Badley. A follower of John and Charles Wesley, they often visited her when in Dudley. She maintained a Methodist Chapel at Box Hedge Cottage, Bellbroughton, Worcestershire, England, which was her home until her death there. (bio by: David McJonathan-Swarm)
