Servilia Sadie Bernal, age 75, was ushered into God's loving arms after a long illness. She was born in Colonias, NM on October 1, 1930.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfonso and Esther Lucero; sisters, Lydia Rojas, Ruby Henry, Orlina Gomez, and Rebecca Gonzales.

A resident of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque for 56 years, she is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jacob; three daughters, Esther Leyba of Bosque Farms, Olivia Rodarte of the Tucson area, Liz Lujan of Los Lunas; one son, Jacob Erwin of Rio Rancho; eight grandchildren; three great-granddaughters; and one great-grandson; two sisters, Priscilla Corral and Evelyn Lucero from the Los Angles, CA area; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends who she cared greatly for and loved to spend time with.

Servilia loved to sew and she was an excellent seamstress.

She was very involved in her churches all of her adult life. She also loved to shop. Servilia was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista for ten years and a past member of Grace Brethren Church three doors down from her home.
