June Monette Carter, 85, passed away at her home in Hockley, Texas on Monday, April 2, 2012 after a long illness. June was born on June 4, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan to Walker and Clara Lowery.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Walker Lowery; mother, Clara Idell Lowery Richards; brother, William Walker Lowery, Jr. and step-father Elbern T. (Rich) Richards all of Quincy, Florida.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Lonnie Carter, Jr. and 6 children; Lonnie Ross Carter of Austin, TX, Sandra Lee Carter of Hockley, TX, Ronald Walker and wife Tessa Carter of La Porte, TX, Randal Paul and wife Robbie Carter of Deer Park, TX, Deborah Delores and husband Warren Plowman of Burleson, TX and Pamela June and husband Ken Zieto of Hockley, TX; sisters Dorothy (Dot) Suber of Quincy, FL and Sue Lowery Williams of Abiquiu, NM; 4 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
